Attorney page:
The Association maintains a listing of attorneys that the members can contact for issues not covered under the legal servives agreement with O'Connor and Verderaime. Members can also utilize the AFL-CIO's Union Priviledge Program Attroney Referrals' program which lists attorneys who provide discounts for their services.
Disclaimer Notice: The HCPOA does not recommend attorneys for non-job related matters. The attorney listings are provided as a service to the membership. The membership is encouraged to investigate all options, including contacting other attorneys not on the HCPOA or AFL-CIO listings.
LEOBR page:
The Association provides active members with legal coverage for job related matters pertaining to the Maryland LEOBR as well as criminal coverage arising from duty related matters. The Association has retained the legal services of O'Conner and Verderaime, P.A. to handle LEOBR and Criminal matters for Association members.
Contract page:
The Contract page contains information and links to the collective bargaining agreements for the the Association (IUPA local 86), as well as other Howard County employee bargaining groups.
